Occupational Therapy Clinical Supervisor

Karen received a Master of Arts Degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California in 2013 and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science. She is registered by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy and is licensed through the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners. She has worked with children with different of pediatric diagnoses, including Autism, developmental delay, and neuromuscular deficits in outpatient and home-health settings. Previously, Karen worked as a medical technologist, however, she  knew that working in a lab was not her calling. So, she took a turn and went back to school to become an occupational therapist. Her areas of specialty include neurodevelopmental approach (NDT), sensory-based therapy, and kinesiotaping.

When Karen is not working, she likes to read, cook, and enjoy time with family, friends and her four-footed Fido.
