Amy Ahrens, MA, CCC-SLP
Amy received her Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University. She is licensed by the State of Texas and certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Amy has experience working in a variety of settings, including the medical, school and private practice settings. Through her experiences she has had opportunities to work with children of diverse needs, provide presentations to the community on awareness and specific speech/language topics along with supervising and mentoring graduate students and new clinicians. She has been employed by The Speech and Learning Center for over 10 years. Her special areas of interest include auditory processing, apraxia of speech, feeding/swallowing difficulties, augmentative communication, and speech-language delay.
