Karla Menchaca, OTR/L, MOT

Karla earned a Master of Occupational Therapy Degree at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Karla also earned a bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish from the University of Texas at Brownsville. Prior to becoming an occupational therapist, Karla worked with young children and adolescents as a Mental Health Case Manager and behavioral therapist. She is licensed through the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners and is certified by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy. Karla loves working with children of all ages. She has experience working in outpatient and home health pediatric therapy. Karla enjoys expanding her knowledge to better serve her patients and focuses in fun ways to deliver therapy. 

During her spare time, Karla likes to spend time with her family and pets. She enjoys getting boba tea and trying new restaurants. Karla also enjoys fishing, video games, water parks and going on walks with her dogs.
