Kayla Schumacher, OTR/L, MOT
Kayla received her Bachelor of Science in Community Health with a minor in Psychology from Texas A&M University in May of 2019. She then went on to receive her Master of Occupational Therapy from Texas Women’s University-Houston in December of 2022. She is registered by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy and is licensed through the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and the Texas Occupational Therapy Association. Kayla has experience working in outpatient pediatrics treating children with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, and other developmental delays. She has been employed at the Speech and Learning Center since October 2023.
Kayla enjoys spending her free time traveling, hiking, and scuba diving with her husband Bryce. She also loves reading and watching movies at home.
