Taloya Walker, MS, CCC-SLP

Taloya earned her first Master of Science in Early Oral intervention in Deaf Education at The University of Southern Mississippi, a second Master of Science in Communicative Disorders at Jackson State University, and an undergraduate degree in Communications Sciences and Disorders from Illinois State University. Taloya holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology issued by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed to practice in the states of Mississippi, Illinois and Texas. Taloya’s professional experiences include practicing speech pathology in public schools grades K through 12, early intervention (birth through 3 years), ABA clinics and Auditory Oral schools. Taloya has spent her career specializing in pediatric speech pathology, hearing loss, autism spectrum disorders, and culturally and linguistically diverse populations. Taloya loves working with children, because they bring her joy. She finds observing their progress and receiving positive feedback from parents fulfilling.

In her spare time, Taloya enjoys traveling, reading, writing and painting. She also loves spending time with her nieces and nephews on weekends.
